- Discrimination: The skill of distinguishing between different shapes, scenes and colours.
- Attention or visual observation: This is the child’s ability and the extent of his interaction with the surrounding environment to monitor the fine details of places, things, people and movements surrounding him and the extent of his attention and observation of them.
- Visual-motor coordination: The child’s ability to coordinate his physical activity and movements with different visual stimuli.
